Ultrasonic fat cavitation is a body sculpting procedure that is used to break apart fat deposits in your body. The treatment works as an effective, less invasive alternative to liposuction by using ultrasonic radio waves to break apart fat cells, which are then absorbed into your body by your lymphatic system.

There are very few risks associated with this procedure and there is no downtime associated with the procedure.

Ultrasonic cavitation treatment is meant to target small areas of fat and help contour your body. It isn’t a treatment for people who are trying to lose a lot of weight.

• The procedure is a painless and non-invasive, therefore there is little downtime
• Cavitation removes cellulite and reduces the chances of it returning
• While the most appropriate areas of treatment include the thighs, abdomen and buttocks, there is no real limitation on treatment areas
• Cavitation can reshape areas that diet and exercise have not helped, such as ‘love handles’

When combined with radio frequency treatments, ultrasound cavitation can lead to tighter skin.

A treatment may take between 35 and 40 minutes to complete. Coastal Aesthetics and Wellbeing recommend a course of between 6 to 10 treatments for the best results.
